Furniture upholstery for pieces worth keeping

Good furniture outlasts its fabric. Our upholsterers strip worn upholstery back to the frame, replace padding where it is needed, and finish the piece in the fabric you choose. Sofas, sectionals, armchairs, dining chairs, benches and ottomans all come through the studio, and each one is assessed before we confirm the work and the price.

Choosing fabric and custom details

We help you choose fabric, color and pattern for how the furniture is used, and we talk through how different materials feel and wear in South Florida. Custom touches such as welting, tufting, skirts and contrast piping are planned with you before the first cut. Some projects use fabric you supply; for those we quote handling and labor separately.

What affects the cost of furniture upholstery

Size and number of pieces
Fabric choice and how much is needed
Frame, padding and detail work
Removal, pickup or delivery when required

How to request a furniture quote

Send photos of the furniture from a few angles, your measurements if you have them, your city or ZIP code and the work you have in mind. We will follow up with a written quote for the upholstery work you approve.

What to expect

Once you approve the quote, we schedule the piece into the studio and confirm the fabric. If pickup is part of the job, we arrange a time that suits you. The piece is stripped, repadded where needed, patterned and sewn, then fitted and finished by hand. We check the seams, the pattern alignment and the way the cushions sit before we call you to say it is ready. Quotes are valid for 30 days because material costs change.
